bad hair Monday
Ok, so it's Tuesday - it's an honorary Monday due to the holiday...
My hairdresser talked me into letting my hair grow a bit - not long flowing locks, mind you (come on, this is me we're talking about!), but just not as short, stiff and severe as I've done for years. Which makes sense, as my hair is so fine it was starting to look a bit thin...but dammit, it wants to wave, and always the wrong way! And my limited experience with styling hair (hence the years of short hair) is a hinderance in the morning. I swear, I'd shave my head if I thought it would look good.
Whatever...
But the weekend was good. Weather warm enough to open the windows, and I got some sewing and other odds and ends done. I even started Xmas shopping (go me!) and called some people I've not talked to in awhile.
I also finally downloaded pictures of The Dress; I have nowhere to post them so if you're interested in seeing it drop me an email because I'm not likely to be wearing it anywhere anytime soon.
Harry Potter opens this Friday! D. and I will probably wait until next week to go to avoid the crowds. Recommended: the review of the London premiere at the Leaky Cauldron.
