more costume sh!t
D. helped me try on my stays for the first time since winter. They still fit, but only just - they would be baggy if they didn't meet in the back (which they aren't supposed to do - having the boning right on the spine is not supposed to be healthy, but I'm cheating because it's not like I wear them every day).
I just wasted an hour and a half trying to mend the hem of a skirt, only to realize that the seam binding is so frayed it needs replacement, so 1 1/2 hour down the drain.
On the up side, I'm almost finished with the skirt of the N.E. Costume. Just a tad more velcro so it will hang right.
On the down side, I never did get to the scale for the cups. Naw, I'll go do that before I go to bed.
Did I also mention I'm cranky because I was awake at 5:30 this morning for no reason, and then had to tank up on coffee to stay coherent?
