Culinary note: Chocolate makes an excellent "chaser" for curry. I don't know why, but they go together SO WELL!
Artistic note: went out and picked up my class supplies today. Michaels' is turning into more of a "crafty" type of store; I found only 1 or 2 aisles of fine art materials, and the rest was given over to scrapbooking and silk flowers. Pearl, however, is awesome. It is still a little disorganized but improving.
Shopping note: I LOVE shopping for art supplies. There's something about seeing sets of colored pencils lined up neatly by hue. I feel sure I was a crow in a former life (shiny! shiny!)
Weather note: rain = cooler weather = wearing fall clothes. Finally get to play with some of my toys from L.A.
Seasonal note: September = shorter days. Noticeably so - it was dark at 7:30 today (though some of that could have been the rain). I am not sure when the time is changing but I already have my sun lamp out, just in case.
Sewing note: almost down to the last scale. Then I need to create/add scales to the bra cups and put those on. Almost there. Wish me luck.
Movie note: This is the most twisted little movie I've seen in a while. It was advertised as a romantic comedy, but really it is more like "Sex and the City", only more so. Ruder, louder, sillier, weirder. The, er, rewrite of "I'm Too Sexy" and it's accompanying musical sequence must be seen to be believed. Must-rent.
