Perez-Reverte's "The Flanders Panel" for loan

A mystery/thriller of art, history, and chess, source of this shiny quote, by the same author who wrote the "Alatriste" novels. Needless to say, I enjoyed terrifically!

If you like chess, art, or mystery (especially chess - they go into detail with charts), you want to read.

First come first serve, if more than one of you is interested we'll figure out a way to pass it around.

¿Quién mató al caballero?

(Who killed the knight?)

This has to be one of my Perez Reverte all-time faves.

So glad you enjoyed the tale! I had my chessboard set up to follow the diagrams in 3D when I first read it. :-)
